Welcome to Kinderopvang De Petteflet in Burum! We are a small-scale daycare center providing care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare is located at Herestraat 36 in Burum and offers care in two horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0 to 2 years and a toddler group for children aged 2 to 4 years. This structure allows us to tailor care and activities perfectly to your child's developmental stage. At De Petteflet, we believe in the power of small-scale care. Our pedagogical staff know each child and their unique needs. We provide a familiar environment where children feel safe and secure, allowing them to develop optimally. We work with a clear pedagogical policy focused on children's comprehensive development, addressing language, motor skills, social skills, and self-confidence through play. Our spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. We have an animal enclosure where children meet animals and learn to care for other creatures. We also regularly make trips in the neighborhood, such as to the forest or village. Music and movement play an important role in our daily program: we sing together, make music, and move to the rhythm. We also work on language development through reading aloud, singing, and conversations. We provide pre-school education (VVE) to all toddlers in our toddler group. This program aims to stimulate children's comprehensive development and prepare them well for primary school. For children who need extra support, we offer additional attention and activities. We work together with parents on their child's development and hold parent meetings to discuss progress. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer both full and half-day care. Our price includes diapers, wipes, fruit, and drinks. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account.
