Kinderopvang De Morgenzon

De Morgenzon Daycare is located at Kerkstraat 57 in the centre of Zeeland and is part of Kanteel Childcare. We provide day care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. Babies and toddlers are welcome to play and explore together in one group, yet we can also organise separate baby and toddler groups whenever this suits the child better. Our qualified staff welcome the children every morning from 07.30 (from 07.00 by arrangement). We follow a clear daily rhythm supported by pictograms so the children know what to expect. After circle time the children choose where they want to play; we present toys and materials in a small suitcase and the children use a toy telescope to see which activity appeals to them. For the youngest ones we follow the schedule parents use at home and offer plenty of individual attention and rest. Toddlers learn to put on their own coat, spread their own sandwich and are introduced to the Piramide Early Childhood Education programme. A sports coach visits weekly for a movement session and we read stories, sing songs and play movement games. Through play the children practise language, motor and social skills. De Morgenzon is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) location. From the age of 2½ children can receive at least 960 hours of ECE within one and a half years, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. We work closely with primary schools De Vlasgaard and De Wizzert, together forming a true Children’s Centre. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. Our rooms are furnished like a home, with natural materials and plenty of quiet corners. Parents experience us as a warm, committed team for every child.
