Kinderopvang De Lytse Pykjes is a small-scale daycare centre located on the estate at Woudweg 18 in Noardburgum. Our facility is set in a quiet, rural area just outside Veenwouden and is easily accessible from the Centrale As. We provide a safe and familiar place where children aged 0 to 4 can develop, explore and have fun at their own pace. At De Lytse Pykjes we believe in giving children space to play and learn in a homely atmosphere. Our groups are organised vertically: children of different ages are together, allowing younger children to learn from the older ones and the older children to develop responsibility and caring skills. Nature and animals are an important part of our daily experience. The children meet our goats, chickens, budgies and rabbits, learning in a playful way how to care for living creatures. They also explore the grounds and the seasons: in autumn we collect acorns, in winter we watch birds, and in spring and summer we play outside to our hearts’ content. Our bilingual environment (Dutch and Frisian) stimulates language development and gives children the opportunity to pick up two languages naturally. We follow fixed daily routines that provide calm and structure, so every child feels safe and secure. Our team consists of dedicated childcare professionals who care for the children with great attention and love. We are open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm, and earlier drop-off is available on request. Kinderopvang De Lytse Pykjes is there for your child and for you as a parent.
