Welcome to Kinderopvang De Lytse Haskes, a warm and small-scale daycare center in the heart of Oudehaske. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in two groups: the Barchjes and the Geitsjes. Our location is set in a charming, converted barn surrounded by countryside and animals. This rural environment aligns perfectly with the world of young children and forms the foundation of our natural and calm approach. At De Lytse Haskes, we follow the four educational goals of Professor Riksen-Walraven. We offer a safe and familiar environment where every child can develop at their own pace. We use a consistent daily rhythm that provides predictability and calm, with room for free play, activities, and outdoor time. We work with the VVE program Uk en Puk and Tomke to stimulate language development, motor skills, and social abilities. We also regularly go on outings, such as to the farm or the ball pit in Heerenveen. Our outdoor space is rich and inviting. Children can play in the garden, help care for the animals, and even nap outside in one of our four outdoor beds. Inside, everything is arranged calmly and homely, with attention to small-scale care and personal attention. We believe it’s important for children to feel at home and for parents to leave their child with peace of mind. We provide bread meals, fruit, and snacks. Parents bring their own formula and fruit jars. We accommodate allergies and dietary needs in consultation with parents. Sleep routines are aligned with the home situation. Each group has two bedrooms and fixed beds. We use Bitcare to keep parents informed and have a parent committee for input and decision-making. Kinderopvang De Lytse Haskes is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:00. We offer half-day and full-day care. Our familiar faces ensure continuity and trust.
