Welcome to Kinderopvang De Liefde, located at Bilderdijkstraat 27 in vibrant Amsterdam-West. Our small-scale daycare is a second home for children aged 0–4, where safety, warmth and personal attention are always our top priority. Our qualified staff create a calm, homely atmosphere in which babies and toddlers can explore, play and grow at their own pace. We organise children in horizontal groups, so each child is surrounded by peers of a similar developmental stage. Babies rest in a separate, quiet sleep room with individual cribs, while toddlers enjoy a bright space filled with art supplies, cosy reading corners and soft music. Every day the children receive a fresh, home-cooked warm meal prepared in our own kitchen. We focus on healthy, varied food with plenty of vegetables and little salt. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding according to the rhythm you use at home; you bring the bottles and feeding schedule, we provide the calm and consistency. Playtime happens both indoors and outdoors. Our garden is a safe, green oasis where children can run, build sandcastles or sing together under the apple tree. Music is part of our daily routine—songs, simple instruments and dancing stimulate language and motor skills. Arts and crafts with paint, clay and natural materials encourage creativity and fine-motor development. Parents are our partners, not visitors. Each morning we briefly discuss how the night went and tailor the day’s rhythm to your child’s needs. Together we ensure your child returns to your arms happy, content and smiling brightly.
