Kinderopvang De Korendrager

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Korendrager, located at Botniasteeg 16 in the historic city centre of Franeker. As part of IKC De Korendrager, we provide daycare for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our facility is housed in a charming, recently modernised building at the Bolwerk, near the Noordergracht. We operate from a single pedagogical vision together with the primary school and pre-school care located on the same premises. We welcome all families and work from Christian values, with respect for differences at the core. Your child's development is our priority. We offer bilingual toddler care, where both Dutch and Frisian are introduced in a playful manner. This stimulates language development and prepares children for primary school. We use horizontal grouping, where children of similar ages play and learn together. Our childcare professionals specialise in guiding toddlers and create a safe, challenging environment where every child can flourish. Our daycare is open from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Half-day care is possible, giving you flexibility in your childcare needs. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang NWF and CBO Noardwest Fryslân, allowing us to draw on a broad network of expertise and experience.
