Welcome to Kinderopvang De Koeienwei, location Ooievaarsnest – a warm, small-scale daycare centre located right on our farm in Bergschenhoek. We are part of Boerderij Het Lansingerland and provide care for up to 10 children aged 10 weeks to 4 years. Our group is vertically structured, meaning children of different ages play, learn and grow together in a safe and homely environment. At Ooievaarsnest, everything revolves around calm, space and natural stimuli. Children experience the farm up close: they watch the cows, take a ride in the wheelbarrow, feed the rabbits and goats, and explore the yard with all its sounds, smells and colours. We go outside every day – the weather rarely stops us – offering plenty of room for natural experiences and imaginative play. Inside, the daycare space is cosy and clearly arranged. There is a quiet corner for sleeping, a reading area with books, a dolls’ corner and a creative spot where we do crafts or dance to music. We work with a fixed team of qualified childcare staff who know each child well and tailor development to individual needs. There is space for bottle feeding, nap routines and all the care that comes with this age.
