Kinderopvang de Koeienwei

At Kinderopvang De Koeienwei, located on the beautiful working farm Het Lansingerland at Hoeksekade 146a in Bergschenhoek, we provide small-scale daycare for children aged 10 weeks to 4 years. Our location is truly unique: a real dairy farm where children experience farm life every day. They feed the calves, pet the goats, give chickens their food and watch our cows with wonder. Getting dirty is not just allowed here – it's encouraged! We use vertical grouping, where children of different ages share one group. This stimulates development and creates a homely atmosphere. Our three regular groups – Madelief, Boterbloem and Klaver – together accommodate up to 48 children. Each group is guided by at least two qualified pedagogical staff members, supported by trainees. For older toddlers we also offer a horizontal group 'De Akker', where children from 3 years receive extra preparation for primary school through circle time, craft activities and practicing with colors. Our farm offers endless space for discovery. Children play outside daily on our safe yard, use natural play materials and learn through play about animals, plants and seasonal rhythms. Inside, the daycare is spacious with various play corners, a reading area and a home kitchen we use for crafts and dancing to music. We believe it's important that children feel safe and at home, with attention to the individual child and creating a warm, familiar environment as our core values. Kinderopvang De Koeienwei is part of Boerderij Het Lansingerland, a household name in Bergschenhoek for almost twenty years. Our Christian identity is expressed in small ways: we read from the Bible and pray together before meals. We have a maximum of four daycare days per week, as we believe time with family is equally important. We're proud to have created a place on our farm where children can grow up connected to nature, animals and each other.
