Kinderopvang de Knuffelbeer - Kempenaer

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kinderopvang De Knuffelbeer – Kempenaer, located in the heart of the De Kempenaer community centre at Dr Wumkeslaan 4 in Heerenveen. Since 1 September 2023, we have been providing out-of-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12. Our setting uses the spacious, bright rooms ‘Klub’ and ‘Stoof’ inside the community centre, giving children a familiar and safe place right after school. At De Knuffelbeer, learning through play is central. We believe every child is unique and deserves a warm, stimulating environment in which they can develop to their full potential. Our dedicated team of pedagogical staff offers a varied programme that matches the world of school-aged children—think crafts, games, outdoor activities and relaxation after a busy school day. We work with seasonal themes so that activities remain current and engaging. Open cooperation with parents and schools is very important to us.
