Kinderopvang de Kleine Kornuiten

Located at Hofmanssteeg 7 in Dalfsen, our agricultural daycare De Kleine Kornuiten offers childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a unique setting: an active dairy farm just outside the village. Here, children grow up surrounded by animals, nature and space to explore. Our daycare is housed in a separate building that meets all legal requirements. We work with horizontal age groups, divided into six fixed groups. For the youngest children, we have the Kroeperties, Moaties and Hummelties – baby-toddler groups for children from 0 to 24/28 months. These groups are located in our front house, where calm, warmth and trust are central. For toddlers and preschoolers, we have the Makkerties, Vrienties and Binkies – groups for children from 24/28 months until they start primary school. These groups are located in the Delle, our newest building with a view of the young cattle barn. We believe children learn by experiencing. That’s why we spend a lot of time outdoors. Children put on overalls and boots and go exploring. They help feed the animals, play in the barn, run through the fields and even sleep outside in our special outdoor sleeping cabins. Our animal meadow with goats, a sheep, chickens and Shetland ponies is part of the daily experience. We collect eggs, care for rabbits and guinea pigs and cuddle with our cat Kor. We provide everything your child needs: diapers, food, drinks and warm meals from 1 year old. We offer full and half-day care, and flexible care is also possible. Our standard opening hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, but early or extended care is available on request from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. At De Kleine Kornuiten, children grow up in harmony with nature. We follow a pedagogical vision specifically developed for farm-based childcare. Children learn to trust themselves, respect others and animals, and develop independence and social skills.
