Kinderopvang de Kindjes - in de molen

Welcome to Kinderopvang De Kindjes – location In de Molen, situated at Nieuweweg 109 in the centre of Veenendaal. We are a small-scale toddler day-care where children aged 2 to 4 feel completely at home. Everything we do revolves around discovering, playing and growing in a safe, homely environment. Our pedagogical staff create their own themes that tie in with the children’s world of experience. Nothing is too crazy: we transform the group, order sensory-stimulating materials and devise creative activities that exactly match what the children need. This way we discover something new together every day. Each morning we start with a circle in which we playfully work on language, numeracy and social skills. We read picture books, play cognitive games and practise together. Afterwards it is time for movement on our gym course or we go into the vegetable garden to harvest and cook together. Taking care of our chickens and collecting the fresh eggs is also part of the fun! Besides the regular activities, we organise festive extras throughout the year. Think of an exciting Sinterklaas party, a summer party and a special pyjama party for the 3-year-olds. Then the teachers also come in pyjamas and we make it an unforgettable day together. At In de Molen we work in a clear horizontal group of up to 16 toddlers. This keeps it small-scale and personal, exactly as befits young children who are developing rapidly.
