Welcome to De Hummeltjeshoeve, our daycare center located at Groeneweg 20 in Heukelum. As part of Kinderopvang de Hummeltjeshoeve B.V., we have been providing reliable and professional childcare for children from 6 weeks to 4 years old since 2010. In our homely location, we work with three vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. Our baby group De Hummeltjes accommodates up to 9 children from 0 to 24 months. In this calm group, safety, familiarity and development are central. Our experienced pedagogical staff follow your baby's natural rhythm and tailor care to your child's needs. For the more active toddlers and preschoolers, we have group De Beestenboel, where up to 11 children aged 12 months to 4 years play together. Here children have all the space to discover, move and develop their own talents. This group operates according to the principle of vertical groups, where younger children learn from older ones and older children learn to be caring. Our preschool group 't Landleven is specially designed for children from 24 months to 4 years, with space for up to 16 children. In this group, we prepare your child for primary school in a playful way, while stimulating the development of social skills, independence and language. We believe it is important that children and staff feel emotionally and physically safe, so they can develop optimally. By working closely with parents, we create coherence between experiences at home and at our childcare.
