Kindercentrum De Hovenier is located at Bakkersstraat 12 in the heart of Tiel and has been providing professional childcare in a homely, warm atmosphere since 2020. We welcome up to 48 children per day in our daycare centre, divided into two age groups: the Mini’s (0-2 years) and the Midi’s (2-4 years). This horizontal group structure ensures that every child receives the care and stimuli appropriate to his or her stage of development. Learning through play is central to our approach. Our pedagogical staff deliver an early-years educational programme (VVE) that connects with the world of experience of young children. We pay a lot of attention to language and speech development, because good language skills form the basis for later school performance. Every day we read aloud, sing songs and use picture and word cards to expand vocabulary. Babies in the Mini group have their own separate sleeping areas with cots and cradles. Bottle feeding, sleep routines and cuddle moments are fully tailored to your child’s rhythm. For toddlers in the Midi group, playful learning is key: we build with blocks, finger-paint, play hide-and-seek and practise sitting, standing and walking on our soft rugs and in the safe indoor play area. Our location has a secluded courtyard where children can enjoy fresh air every day. The garden is equipped with a swing, sandpit and a small bike/scooter circuit. Even in less favourable weather, children can play and explore under the canopy. We offer flexible childcare days and half- or full-day options, so you can choose what suits your family best. There is no waiting list: your child can start with us right away. Kindercentrum De Hovenier is an inclusive organisation where every child is welcome, regardless of background or religion.
