Kinderopvang De Hooiberg

Welcome to Kinderopvang De Hooiberg at Vinckenweg 91 in Vriezenveen! We are a young and dynamic organisation offering small-scale, professional childcare on a farm for children aged 0 to 4. Our day-care centre is located in De Pollen, in the rural area of the Twenterand municipality. Surrounded by a friendly green landscape, children have plenty of space to play, explore and grow. At De Hooiberg, outdoor life is central. Children meet our farm animals every day and learn in a playful way how to interact with them. In our garden they can help sow, weed and harvest. These activities support their development and give them a unique opportunity to experience nature up close. We also offer activities such as crafts, music, sports and games, and of course lots of outdoor play. We work with horizontal groups. For the youngest children we have De Speelweide, a group for children from 0 to 2 years old. For toddlers we have two toddler groups: De Boertjes en Boerinnetjes and De Krulstaartjes, both for children from 2 to 4 years old. Each group has its own room with sleeping area and a shared changing room. Outside there is a spacious and safe play area, fully fenced, where children can play and explore freely. Our pedagogical staff are qualified and have at least a level 3 MBO diploma with a pedagogical background. Some have completed additional courses such as Triple-P level 2, paediatric first aid and VVE education. We provide a structured daily routine with fixed times for meals, rest and activities, creating a familiar environment where every child feels safe and valued.
