Kinderopvang De Heerd

Welcome to daycare De Heerd, part of childcare organisation ’t Hummelhuis. We are located inside the multifunctional centre De Heerd at Griftstraat 8 in Heerde. In our child-friendly setting we provide care for babies and toddlers from 0 to 4 years old. We work with horizontal groups, so children of the same age play and develop together. Our baby group “Winnie de Pooh” is designed for children from 0 to 2 years old. Loving care is central here; we follow the home routine and offer calm and space to discover the world. When children turn 2, they move up to our toddler group “Tigger”. In this group we focus on developing independence and preparing for primary school through circle games and age-appropriate activities. Our qualified pedagogical staff are professional and caring. They respond to each child’s needs and create a warm and safe second home. We use the Bitcare app so parents can follow their child’s day through photos and messages. Our location offers many benefits: we have access to an indoor gym, the adjacent Van Meursweide park, and the library located in the same building. Outside we have a spacious garden with play equipment. Diapers, fruit and drinks are included; formula and spare clothes should be brought from home. Our regular opening hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
