Welcome to Kinderopvang De Groene Zwaluw – location BS St. Theresia, our small-scale after-school care centre located in the annex of primary school St. Theresia at Kerkweg 7 in Swalmen. We provide before- and after-school care for up to 31 children in grades 3 to 8. Our BSO is open Monday through Thursday. For St. Theresia pupils we offer care before school, after school and during all school holidays. Children from other primary schools are also welcome for holiday care. As our name suggests, we stand for green childcare. Children spend a lot of time outdoors. Our own green garden and the wooded surroundings of Swalmen offer endless opportunities to explore nature, romp and play. Inside we have a room that is set up to provide a varied play offer for all ages. Free play and organised activities alternate. Small scale and personal attention are paramount. Our committed, regular pedagogical staff provide a safe base in which every child can be themselves. This creates a place where children can truly relax and play to their heart's content after a busy school day.
