KOV de Bengelkes

KOV de Bengelkes is our daycare centre in Herten, located at Schoolstraat 7. We are part of V.O.F. ’t Treintje and have provided trusted childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 1999. We work with four horizontal groups, placing children of the same age together so our pedagogical staff can offer activities that match each child’s developmental stage. The baby group welcomes up to 10 children, while the toddler groups host 12 to 16 children. This small-scale approach creates a homely and personal atmosphere. Every child is assigned a dedicated mentor. This professional tracks your child’s development closely and discusses progress with you on a regular basis. We follow a consistent daily rhythm, giving your child the structure and calm they need. Outdoors, we have a spacious garden with a sandpit, two climbing frames and, in summer, a refreshing paddling pool under supervision. We love taking short walks through the village, visiting the playground or feeding the ducks together. These outdoor moments are a fixed part of our daily programme. KOV de Bengelkes is officially registered in the National Childcare Register and offers pre-school education (VE). This means you can apply for childcare allowance and rest assured that we meet all national quality standards. Our goal is to create a safe environment where your child feels welcome and secure, with plenty of room to play, move and explore.
