Welcome to daycare De Basis, located at Zeelandsedijk 10d in Volkel. Our small-scale daycare provides a homely and safe environment where children aged 0 to 4 can develop through play, learning and discovery. We work with small groups so each child receives the undivided attention they deserve. Our pedagogical staff guide children in a natural and playful way. We believe in the power of free play and consciously offer activities that match your child's developmental stage. Our outdoor playground with animals and vegetable garden forms an important part of our daily activities. Here children learn about nature through play and develop respect for animals and the environment. We offer bilingual childcare, where both Dutch and English are spoken. This happens naturally, without either language being used as a preferred language. This way children learn a second language through play from an early age. As a certified VVE location, we work with a recognized pre-school educational program. Our staff are specially trained to stimulate language development and to identify and address any developmental delays early. We work closely with primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition to primary education. We fully unburden parents: diapers, wipes, formula feeding, hot meals, fruit and drinks are all included. You only need to bring an extra set of clean clothes.
