Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Casa Capretti, located at Juan Grisstraat 140 in Almere. We provide small-scale, professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely and safe environment. Our facility is part of Kinderopvang Casa Capretti B.V., founded in 2012 by Manon Homulle and Juliët Nijenhuis, both mothers and experienced childcare professionals. We operate horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0–2 and a toddler group for children aged 2–4. Every child receives the space and attention they deserve thanks to our small groups and permanent, qualified staff. Our vision is clear: we offer professional care in a homely atmosphere where parents and children quickly feel at home. We value personal contact, open communication and a familiar environment that feels like a second home. Our daycare is situated inside the Castrovalva care and residential centre in the Tussen de Vaarten district. A special feature of our service is the interaction between our children and the elderly residents of the centre. We regularly organise activities where children and seniors craft together around a theme, sing songs or play games. The enclosed inner garden of the centre is also accessible to us, where our oldest toddlers can play. These encounters support the children’s social development and provide valuable contact for the seniors. Our group rooms are bright, spacious and equipped with age-appropriate play corners. The youngest have a quiet playpen area, while the toddler group enjoys a home corner, construction corner, car corner and a large craft cupboard full of challenging materials. For the oldest toddlers we use toddler-plus materials to prepare them for primary school in a playful way. We regularly change the layout and materials to keep the environment stimulating and interesting. We follow four pedagogical core goals: providing emotional safety and security, promoting personal and social competences, and encouraging respectful participation in society. All our pedagogical staff work from this vision, allowing every child to develop at their own pace in a familiar environment. Kinderopvang Casa Capretti is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We are closed on official public holidays and a few consecutive days around New Year.
