Kinderopvang Buitenspelen Titus Brandsma

Kinderopvang Buitenspelen Titus Brandsma is our second after-school care location in the centre of Oldenzaal, housed in the scouting building at Potskampstraat 5. We provide care for up to 40 primary-school children aged 4 to 13. Just like at our De Höfte site, outdoor play is at the heart of everything we do: children are given literal space to develop by running, climbing, scrambling and exploring nature. Our pedagogical vision is simple yet powerful: children need daily fresh air and nature for balanced growth. That is why we are outside as much as possible, in every season. We work in small, vertical groups so every child receives personal attention. Our creative activities stimulate the brain and we serve healthy, sometimes home-made, snacks. We collect children by cargo bike from Basisschool Drie-eenheid, Franciscusschool and Nutsschool. Together with the schools we ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our Potskampstraat site, close to the town centre, offers access to the scouting grounds with plenty of room for adventurous play, woodwork, fire-making and working in the vegetable garden. Every child who loves outdoor play is welcome!
