Welcome to Partou Daycare Bilderdijkpark! We are located right in the green heart of Bilderdijkpark, in Amsterdam West. Our large, homely building accommodates up to 50 children aged 0 to 4. We have two outdoor play areas with plenty of space to run, climb and explore. Every day we serve a fresh, warm lunch – think mashed potatoes with endive or other tasty, healthy dishes – so a simple sandwich at home in the evening is enough. Our pedagogical professionals follow Partou’s six building blocks. This way we offer both calm and routine, as well as lots of playtime fun. We read books together, sing songs and go outside every day to explore nature. Through our own app we keep parents updated with photos and messages, so they can share in the first friendships, first steps and all the other milestones. We use horizontal groups, with babies, toddlers and preschoolers each having their own spaces that match their stage of development. The youngest ones have a quiet baby corner with bottle feeding, diaper changes and cuddle time. Toddlers and preschoolers are offered activities that match their curiosity: from sandbox adventures to dancing to music. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and seen, and gets a powerful start.
