Club BijdeHandjes - Waterdaal

Welcome to BSO BijdeHandjes at Waterdaal 3 in Amersfoort Leusderkwartier. Our homely after-school care centre is located in a quiet, wooded neighbourhood and offers space for up to 44 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. We serve children from nearby primary schools and work closely with parents and schools to provide a familiar place after school where children can relax, play and develop. Our Christian identity is central: children experience that they are loved and learn to treat each other with respect. Our qualified, passionate pedagogical staff create a warm second home. Every afternoon starts with a shared moment: a brief catch-up, a prayer before the meal, then healthy food and drinks. Afterwards children choose from a range of activities: outdoor play in our own garden, crafts, construction, games or simply reading in our quiet corner. We make frequent use of the natural surroundings. We often head into the neighbourhood or the nearby woods for a scavenger hunt or sports and games. Thanks to our small-scale set-up we really know every child and tailor our programme to individual needs. Parents stay informed through our BijdeHandjes app with photos, stories and practical updates. In short, at BSO BijdeHandjes Waterdaal 3 children have the space to be themselves, make friends and grow after school in a safe, loving environment.
