Welcome to our daycare centre in Lunteren, located in the homely premises of Ana Upu at Van der Duyn van Maasdamstraat 16. Since 2018 we have provided warm, Christian childcare for up to 24 children aged 0 to 4. Our small-scale setting guarantees calm and overview, ensuring every child receives the attention they deserve. Play-based learning is at the heart of our approach. We believe adventure, friendship and development go hand in hand. Our pedagogical staff observe from a distance when possible and step in closely when needed, giving children the confidence to be themselves and explore the world. We work with horizontal groups, bringing children of the same age together. This supports their social skills and allows us to tailor activities to their developmental stage. Our Christian identity is tangible in daily life: we read from picture books and the children’s Bible, sing Christian songs and pray together before meals. At the same time, every child is welcome, regardless of background. We offer pre-school education (VE), letting children playfully develop language, numeracy and social skills. Music, crafts and outdoor play in our secure garden are all part of the programme. Everything is included: nappies, baby food, fruit and drinks are covered in the hourly rate. We also accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. Through our parent portal and app we share photos, sleep and meal times, so parents can enjoy their child’s progress.
