Club BijdeHandjes - De Kraats

Welcome to BSO de Kraats, the after-school care location of BijdeHandjes at Rijnsteeg 5 in Bennekom. This BSO is part of Christelijke Kinderopvang BijdeHandjes, an organisation that has been offering children a loving second home for more than twenty years. The site is beautifully situated in the countryside between Ede, Bennekom, Wageningen and Veenendaal and is easily reached from the motorway. At our BSO your child has all the space to be themselves. We always start the afternoon with a shared snack and drink: time to chat about the school day and recharge. Afterwards the children decide how they want to spend their free time. Fancy being active? We offer sports and games, indoors and outdoors. Prefer to take it easy? Reading a book or doing homework is also fine. Anything goes, nothing is obligatory. Our Christian identity is visible in small things: we say grace before eating, occasionally sing a Christian song and also read from the children’s Bible. At the same time we believe every child is welcome, regardless of background or faith. We work with a well-considered pedagogical policy based on the unique qualities of each child. Together with you as a parent we discuss what your child needs and we are happy to think along with you. To keep parents well informed we use the BijdeHandjes parent app. There you receive spontaneous photos and stories from the afternoon and you can easily arrange all administrative matters. We collect children from the primary schools in the area – on foot, by bike or with our BSO bus – and bring them safely home afterwards. This way we dovetail seamlessly with your working day and that of your child.
