BijdeHandjes – Kersentuin

Welcome to our daycare centre at Kersentuin 34 in Woudenberg. We are part of BijdeHandjes Christian childcare and provide loving care for up to 64 children aged 0-4, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Every child is assigned a personal mentor so we truly get to know your child and guide them at their own pace. We use the Uk & Puk method: within familiar themes, Puk and the children explore the world together. Through play we practise language, numeracy and social skills. We read aloud from picture books and the children’s Bible daily, sing Christian songs and celebrate events such as Animal Day, National Reading Days and Christian holidays. Our location is quietly situated on the edge of Woudenberg with views across the meadows. The groups are horizontally arranged, so babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and sleep in age-based groups. We have separate sleeping rooms, a safe indoor and outdoor playground and use only natural, sustainable materials. Healthy food, plenty of exercise and fresh air are central: fruit and drinks are included, bread meals are prepared together with the children and we go outside every day. As a parent you become part of our BijdeHandjes family. Through our parent app you receive photos and stories, easily register and deregister and read the latest news. We always start with an intake interview and settling-in sessions so that you and your child experience a calm, confident start. Together we ensure your child feels loved and, step by step, is ready for the big wide world.
