Kinderopvang Beetgummermolen 'het Kwetternest'

Welcome to Kinderopvang Beetgummermolen ‘het Kwetternest’, our modern daycare centre located at Klaas van der Meijstrjitte 1C in Bitgummole. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland we have provided care for up to 48 children aged 0–4 since 23 June 2020. Our premises are bright, spacious and fully tailored to the needs of young children. Situated in the heart of the neighbourhood, close to school, sports hall and playground, your child enjoys a familiar environment while you as a parent are always nearby. At Het Kwetternest we work in vertical groups: children of different ages share one group. Toddlers learn from the older ones and babies get the calm they need while still experiencing the group dynamic. We have a strong focus on nature. Whenever possible we go outside: the youngest explore our safe baby garden, while older children romp in the large garden, slide down the slide or build sandcastles. Outdoor play is just as important as indoor activities; fresh air and natural stimuli support healthy development. We believe parents should be involved in their child’s daily life, so every day we share photos and messages through Klasbord. You can see exactly what your son or daughter has experienced and relive the moments at home. Our parents and parent committee are active: during holidays they help with regular activities and contribute to policy discussions.
