Welcome to Partou Arcade! Our after-school care is located on the ground floor of the comprehensive school Arcade at Octavialaan 61 in Leiden-Roomburg. Because we are literally under the same roof as primary school De Arcade, children do not have to cross the street and can immediately move to a familiar place where they feel completely at home after school. With us it is always cosy and there is something to do every day. We start with a short outdoor activity, so that the children can release the energy of the school day. Afterwards we eat a cracker or fresh fruit together and the children choose what they want to do: playing freely in our large garden, taking part in a creative or sports workshop, or romping in the playroom. The garden offers plenty of space to run, climb and play outside, while inside the playroom is set up for building, crafting and other challenging activities. Our pedagogical staff regularly organise musical, creative and sports workshops that match the children's interests. Think of building a tower together, sports and movement activities, or creative craft projects. We believe it is important that children can be themselves and choose what they want to do. Playing, discovering and having fun are central. For parents it is extra convenient that our day-care centre and the after-school care are under one roof. This way brothers and sisters of different ages can be cared for at the same location. We pick up children from St. Bernardus primary school, so the transition from school to after-school care runs smoothly. We work with the Partou app, which keeps parents informed of their child's daily experiences. This way you can experience all the adventures your child has with us.
