2Karpers

2Karpers is a warm and intimate toddler care centre operated by 2Samen, located in the basement of the Ichtus Church on Duinkerksestraat 7 in the Belgisch Park area of Scheveningen. We provide care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a homely and secure environment where every child is given space to develop at their own pace. Our focus is on learning through play, creative activities and sparking imagination. We work with fixed horizontal groups, allowing children to play with peers of the same age in a familiar setting. Our pedagogical staff welcome children every morning from 08:30 to 12:00. We do not offer full-day care; instead, this morning session is ideal for toddlers not yet ready for long days. We pay ample attention to language development, creative expression and discovering the world through play. We read stories, sing songs and create crafts that stimulate fine motor skills. The nature garden by the church is also regularly used to let children experience fresh air and natural materials. At 2Karpers, children feel at home. We have an eye for every child and work closely with parents to create a safe and familiar foundation. We do not provide nappies or bottle feeding, as our target group is already toilet-trained and eats and drinks independently. However, we always provide a healthy snack and drinks. Our location is small and manageable, contributing to a calm and secure atmosphere.
