BSO Abeltje is located in the Nutsschool in Lankforst, Nijmegen. We provide high-quality, pedagogically responsible after-school care with your child's development at the center. Our BSO is a safe place where children feel at home after a long school day. We create a familiar environment where children can play and relax under the professional guidance of qualified childcare workers with at least SPW level 3 education. At BSO Abeltje, we place special emphasis on movement and music. Children can participate in sports activities in the gym or play outside. We also offer creative activities such as crafts. We believe it's important that children have the freedom to choose what they want to do - some children prefer to play outside while others want to participate in indoor activities. Therefore, we always ensure sufficient supervision so both options are available. We work according to a pedagogical policy plan that focuses on emotional safety, personal and social competence, and transferring norms and values. Communication with parents is highly valued. Parents have the option to request additional care, both structural and incidental. Our BSO serves children from 4 to 12 years old and complements upbringing at home. We strive to give children a safe foundation where they can develop optimally.
