Welcome to Partou Aan de Amstel! Our daycare centre is located at Schoolweg 43 in the heart of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and offers care for children from 0 to 4 years old. We share the attractive premises with our after-school care, so brothers and sisters of different ages can still see each other regularly. Our greatest pride is the green discovery garden: a safe outdoor area with a sandpit, water-play zone and an outdoor kitchen. Here children can play, explore and get nicely dirty. Every day we organise activities that match your child’s stage of development. For the very youngest this means plenty of room to roll, crawl and walk. Toddlers practise independence through play: sorting blocks, spreading their own sandwich or building a structure from materials placed within reach at child height. We work with a fixed daily structure that offers calm and predictability, while at the same time taking each child’s individual rhythm into account. Our pedagogical staff observe and guide with endless patience; one child receives an extra cuddle while another is encouraged to take new steps. For toddlers we provide extra challenge to prepare them well for primary school—activities focused on language development, numeracy and social skills, always wrapped up in play. Parents stay informed of every milestone and every smile through our own app. We value good contact: a quick update, a chat at pick-up and drop-off, or sharing a parenting question is always possible. Fresh, healthy meals are served daily so that your child is optimally cared for in terms of nutrition as well. In short, at Partou Aan de Amstel we combine calm, cosiness and challenge into a familiar place where your child can develop safely.
