Kinderdagverblijf 't Sproetje

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf ’t Sproetje, a small-scale, caring daycare centre located at Sterrebos in Sint-Oedenrode. We provide care for up to 18 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our focus is on love for children and for nature. We create a wonderful place where children fully enjoy outdoor life, animals, and healthy food. A loving place that feels like a second home, for children and parents alike. Our vision is clear: fun, safety, trust, and development at one's own pace and in one's own way are central. We work in small groups so that each child receives plenty of attention from our permanent pedagogical staff. We believe that attention for each child is important for their development and to feel secure. Through love, safety, and trust, we offer children a place that feels like a second home! At ’t Sproetje, we pay a lot of attention to being outdoors. We find it important that children grow up in nature. We have many animals of our own and share our love for them with our little ones. We believe that children feel better and develop more easily in the fresh outdoor air through natural means. We let children discover where healthy food comes from. Daily we go out: together to the greengrocer, the mill, and the dairy forest to see and learn where our food and drink come from. Our pedagogical approach is inspired by Thomas Gordon's parenting style and by the visions of Emmi Pikler and Loris Malaguzzi. We believe in learning through play and in the importance of a safe, trusted environment in which children can be themselves and grow at their own pace. We offer three locations with the homely atmosphere of home, with the location at Sterrebos in Sint-Oedenrode being a unique place where children can enjoy the countryside and all the adventures that nature has to offer.
