Kinderhuis De Fuut - De Uiterwaard

Kinderhuis De Fuut – De Uiterwaard is our after-school care location at Steenovenslaan 20 in Culemborg. The site welcomes up to 30 children aged 4 to 13. Registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 152148164) since 29 November 2022, De Uiterwaard meets all statutory quality standards. We work in small groups so every child has room to be themselves. Our team—Mike, Loes, Malika and Sam—offers a varied programme of sports & games, creative activities and nature education every afternoon. Whenever possible we head outside: the children get fresh air, muddy hands and plenty of space to explore and imagine. Outdoor play has a positive impact on motor and physical development and fosters creativity, independent thinking and language development. Kinderhuis de Fuut is a small-scale organisation built on short lines and a personal approach. We want parents and children to feel truly at home. Our motivated staff combine pedagogical and educational backgrounds with individual specialisations in art, theatre, nature, sport and play. Together we ensure every child feels safe and challenged during the after-school hours.
