Welcome to Kinderhuis de Fuut 2.0 B.V. located at Karolingersweg 147a in Wijk bij Duurstede. We provide after-school care in nature for children aged 4 to 12. Our location has a maximum capacity of 30 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 30 August 2021 under number 144818723. At de Fuut, we believe that outdoor play positively influences children's motor and physical development. Experiencing nature fosters creativity, independent thinking, making connections and language development. Through play, children become aware of and act responsibly towards nature and the environment. We work with small groups of 9 or 10 children. The child-to-staff ratio is 1:9 for 4 and 5-year-olds, 1:10 for 5 and 6-year-olds, and 1:10 from age 7 onwards. Every afternoon we offer a varied program of activities: sports & games, creativity and nature education. Our enthusiastic and motivated supervisors have, in addition to a pedagogical or educational background, their own specialisation in areas such as art, theatre, nature, sports and games. Kinderhuis de Fuut is a warm organisation with a personal approach. We are active in Culemborg and Wijk bij Duurstede.
