Kindergarden Weesp Hoogstraat

Welcome to Kindergarden Weesp Hoogstraat, our brand-new daycare centre in the heart of Weesp. Since March 2023 our second Weesp branch has been housed in the fully renovated former police station at Hoogstraat 68-70. With 94 places spread across seven horizontal groups we provide care for children aged 0 to 4. The layout consists of three baby groups, one infant group, two toddler groups and one older-toddler group, ensuring every child is placed in an age group that perfectly matches their developmental stage. Our location has been designed with attention to safety, tranquillity and space. On the ground floor are three baby groups, two of which have direct access to their own enclosed outdoor play area. The first floor houses the infant and toddler groups, and on the second floor you will find the older-toddler group. All groups have separate sleeping rooms so that children can rest in peace and quiet. We also have a covered play barn with artificial grass and lighting, allowing us to go outside in any weather. Our discovery garden is a real eye-catcher. In addition to a sandpit and movable elements, it features a floating air-track that invites wobbly walking and trains gross motor skills. We use the garden not only for play, but also to collect natural materials that we then use in creative activities inside. Our creative childcare staff love organising music and craft sessions with leaves, twigs and flowers from our own garden. At Kindergarden Weesp Hoogstraat we follow the VVE programme ‘Startblokken’. This programme stimulates children’s language and cognitive development and prepares them for primary school through play. We serve a fresh, hot lunch and healthy snacks every day. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding, nappies and care products. Parents can follow their child’s day through our app. Our centre is located on the edge of Weesp town centre, about a ten-minute walk from Weesp station and easily accessible by both public transport and car.
