Welcome to Kindergarden Utrecht Maliebaan, our cozy daycare center located in a beautiful townhouse at Maliebaan 25, just a three-minute walk from Utrecht city center. In this historic location with authentic features and high windows that let in wonderful natural light, we provide care for up to 66 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups, bringing children together with peers of the same age. This means we have two baby groups for children aged 0 to 2 years, one toddler group for children aged 1 to 3 years, and two preschool groups for children aged 2 to 4 years. This arrangement ensures that activities, play materials, and daily routines perfectly match your child's developmental stage. Our spaces have a warm, homely atmosphere with cozy, clearly recognizable corners where children can play and discover. We limit stimuli in these areas, allowing children to stay focused on their play without too many distractions. Sometimes we split the preschool groups into smaller groups so we can give more focused attention to specific activities. Our large, green city garden is a true paradise for children. With zig-zag trees to hide behind, a large sandbox, a separate enclosed area for babies, and shade covers in summer, children can safely play and explore outdoors. The garden is designed so that each age group has its own space, with the baby garden specially enclosed for the littlest ones. In our creative studio, we work with different materials like magic sand and offer activities that don't take place in the regular groups. Additionally, we have an interactive movement program called 'Friends call me Jim', where toddlers exercise daily based on characters and magical stories. This not only stimulates their motor development but also their imagination and experience. We provide everything your child needs: from diapers and wipes by Pampers and Naty to care products by Naïf and Sudocrem. For the youngest ones, we offer formula from Nutrilon, Hipp Bio, Biobim, and Pure Goat Company. Every day we prepare fresh, warm meals in our own kitchen, tailored to different ages and developmental stages. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide your child in their development. Under the leadership of location manager Rowena Huisman, we ensure a safe, loving environment where children can develop optimally. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
