Welcome to Kindergarden Utrecht Leidsche Rijn Madridstraat, our brand-new daycare centre at Madridstraat 3A in Utrecht. We provide care for 92 children aged 0 to 4 in a sustainable building designed especially for us in 2020. Almost every group has its own adjoining garden, so children can step outside at any time. Our baby group offers a calm, play- and learning-rich environment where your child can develop at his or her own pace. We stimulate sensorimotor activity by using feathers or confetti. For toddlers and preschoolers we have two separate outdoor spaces: a rooftop terrace for climbing and clambering and a bike track downstairs. The very youngest have their own baby garden right next to their group. We work with horizontal groups so that children play and develop with peers of the same age. Sleeping rooms are located within the groups, creating a familiar and safe place for a peaceful nap. Our pedagogical staff dedicate themselves daily with lots of personal attention and loving care. We prepare toddlers for primary school by encouraging independence through a circle time and an extensive range of play materials from the Montessori cupboard.
