Kindergarden Leiden Raamsteeg

Welcome to Kindergarden Leiden Raamsteeg, our daycare centre located right in the heart of Leiden. Housed in a beautiful historic building at Raamsteeg 2C, we offer space, light and tranquillity. With up to 100 places, we provide care for children from 2 months to 4 years in horizontal groups, bringing together peers in an environment tailored exactly to their stage of development. Our baby groups follow your child’s natural rhythm. Feeding is always one-to-one, on a lap and in complete calm. Each month we focus on a different theme that stimulates the senses. Special corners invite your baby to explore play materials; this layout limits stimuli so your child can play undisturbed. Toddlers and preschoolers are offered both rest and challenge, exactly what they need at that moment. Outdoor time is just as important as indoors. Our adventurous garden is designed entirely around young children’s world of experience: a hill to climb and roll down, a bamboo forest to wander through and a watercourse where you can sail boats and build dams. We encourage children to move, explore and experience nature, always under the watchful eye of our pedagogical staff. Every day we cook fresh, healthy meals in our own kitchen. Bread meals, hot meals, fruit and drinks are all included, so your child is always well cared for. We are easy to reach with paid parking at the door and many schools within walking distance.
