Kindergarden Zeist Hortensialaan

Welcome to Kindergarden Hortensialaan in Zeist! Our after-school care is located on the bright upper floor of our daycare in the center of Zeist. We offer a cozy neighborhood location where children aged 4 to 12 can relax, play and discover new things after school. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children a relaxed afternoon. We offer activities within the themes of Sports and Games, Creative and Technology. In addition, we focus on the theme of Cooking, which the children love. The children have a say in what they want to do, allowing them to choose what appeals to them most that day. Our location has its own outdoor space with a sandbox, climbing frame, large swing and a place to play football. We go here every day, so the children can exercise and play in the fresh air. During holiday periods, the offer is extra diverse. We tailor the program to the theme of that holiday and offer 5 activities per day. Think of silent discos, sports days and museum visits. We also go out and use external facilities such as a rented gym for challenging sports and movement activities. Our special rooms complete the experience. In our Kids Kitchen, children learn to cut, knead, bake and work together at child height. They discover (healthy) ingredients and learn to follow recipes. In the Creative studio, children can let their imagination run wild with materials such as wood, stone, clay and paint. We challenge them to design, build and create. We pick up children from school with our after-school bus, cargo bike or on foot, depending on the distance. During study and holiday days, we serve a hot lunch. Everything is freshly prepared and meets the 'Wheel of Five'. We also offer the option of a hot evening meal, so that children have already eaten when they are picked up.
