Welcome to Kindergarden Haarlem Koningin Wilhelminalaan, our fairy-tale villa in the Haarlemmerhout quarter on the edge of Heemstede. From the moment you step inside, you'll experience the warm, homely atmosphere that we consider so important for your child. We provide care for 84 children in six horizontal groups, where children of the same age play and learn together in an environment perfectly tailored to their developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff give loving attention and personal guidance every single day. We work according to Wereldwijs, our own pedagogical program, in which we maintain a clear daily rhythm and offer activities that connect with your child's world of experience. For the very youngest, we have a specially designed baby area with high contrast, as they perceive this contrast best in their first months. In our spacious, green garden, all children can play and explore to their heart's content. Toddlers and preschoolers race around on scooters and bikes along the paths, while babies can safely enjoy the fresh air in their own fenced garden corner with sandbox. Together we plant, care for, and harvest herbs, strawberries, and radishes in our vegetable garden - and of course, we proudly taste our harvest! We offer music lessons, even for the youngest children. Music helps them make contact and stimulates language development and creativity. Our toddler yoga develops good movement habits and practices balance. For the oldest toddlers, we have the interactive movement program 'Friends call me Jim', where children playfully develop motor skills in a fantasy world full of adventure. Every day we cook fresh and healthy meals in our own kitchen. We maintain a clear daily rhythm with fixed moments for playing, eating, sleeping, and being outside. Everything is aimed at giving your child a second home where they feel safe and secure, while discovering the world in a playful way.
