Welcome to Kindergarden After-School Care Kasteel de Binckhorst, located in the historic castle at Binckhorstlaan 147 in The Hague. Our unique building provides an inspiring environment where children aged 4 to 12 can safely play, discover and relax after school. We pick up children from various schools in the area, either on foot, by our after-school care bus or by cargo bike depending on the distance. Our pedagogical staff organize daily fun workshops and activities tailored to the children's interests. During school holidays and study days, children are welcome all day from 07:30 to 18:30, when we also organize excursions to fun locations in the region. Our after-school care has a beautiful, spacious green garden where children can play to their heart's content. The garden offers different play zones where children can romp, explore and experience new adventures. We believe it's important that children can unwind after an intensive school day and release energy in a safe and stimulating environment. Regarding care, we provide healthy and varied meals. We start with a healthy buffet consisting of raw vegetables and fruit, yogurt with muesli, nuts and sandwiches with healthy toppings. On Wednesdays and Fridays and during vacation days, we provide an extensive lunch with whole wheat bread and various healthy toppings. At the end of the day, children receive a snack consisting of (dried) fruit or raw vegetables. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 15:00 to 18:30. On Wednesday from 12:00 to 18:30. During holidays and study days we are open from 07:30 to 18:30. For parents who need extended care, it's possible to request extra quarters from 7:00-7:30 and 18:30-19:00.
