Kindergarden Delft Zuid BSO

Welcome to Kindergarden Delft Zuid BSO, located in the Voorhof neighborhood, close to TU Delft. Our after-school care offers a warm and safe place where children aged 4 to 12 can relax, play and discover after school. We provide a wide range of activities, allowing children to choose what they want to do. Upon arrival, a healthy buffet is ready with fruit, vegetables, yoghurt, muesli, bread and crackers. Then they can decide whether to engage in sports, get creative in the studio, play with Lego, build a marble run or simply relax in the lounge. We believe it is important that children have a say in their own day. That is why we have a children's council in which children themselves come up with ideas and help decide on the activities. Together we create a holiday program that is fun for everyone. We also regularly go on excursions. Visits to museums and nature centers in the area are enriching experiences that contribute to the development and independence of the children. Our BSO has a large garden that is separate from the daycare center. Here children can play and do sports such as football outside. We encourage outdoor activities because children learn and play differently in a natural environment. In addition, we have a discovery lab where children can experiment and get acquainted with science and technology in a playful way. We work with mixed age groups, allowing children of different ages to play together and learn from each other. This contributes to their social development and gives them the space to develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical staff are professional and involved, and provide a safe and stimulating environment in which every child can be themselves.
