Welcome to Kindergarden Delft Hugo de Grootstraat, our daycare center located in a characteristic former school building at Hugo de Grootstraat 59 in Delft. From the moment you enter our entrance, you'll be surprised by the special atmosphere our location radiates. The stairwell with chandeliers and stained glass windows, high ceilings and abundant natural light creates a warm and inviting environment for your child. Our location accommodates up to 80 children and is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups, with our baby groups specifically designed for children aged 0 to 2 years. Here we use hanging cradles, allowing the youngest babies to safely get used to the sounds and smells in the group. This peaceful place offers the perfect balance between relaxation and stimulation. For our toddlers and preschoolers, we have created different spaces that match their developmental stage. On the first floor you'll find our creative studio, where toddlers can freely discover their creativity. We offer them various materials like magic sand and let them be completely free in what they create. The result is less important than the joy and playful learning that takes place. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great attention and expertise. In our attic, under the slanted roof with beautiful skylights, we've created a playful space. Here we specifically focus on increasing independence in our older toddlers. Think of activities like cutting fruit with a children's knife, going to the toilet independently, and learning to stand up for yourself. These skills are essential in preparation for primary school. Daily we offer our interactive movement programs with Friends call me Jim. Based on characters and magical stories, we stimulate children's imagination and experience, helping them discover the joy of movement.
