Welcome to Kindergarden Rembrandtsingel, our warm and professional daycare centre in the heart of Capelle aan den IJssel. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely atmosphere where every child feels safe and valued. Our pedagogical staff follow the proven Kindergarden concept: everything is carefully thought through, from the layout of the group rooms to the daily activities. In the baby group we offer small-scale care with plenty of rest, warmth and individual attention. We follow your child’s rhythm: when your baby is hungry we provide formula from Nutrilon, Hipp Bio, Biobim or Pure Goat Company; when your child is tired, he or she sleeps in a personal cot in our quiet bedroom. Diapers and wipes from Pampers, Naty and care products from Naïf and Sudocrem are included, so you don’t need to bring anything. Once your child joins the toddler and preschool group, we encourage independence: from setting the table to using the toilet – whatever they can do themselves, they are allowed to try. We run theme-based activities that connect with young children’s world of experience. Think of making music with simple instruments, looking at picture books in our reading corner, crafting with natural materials and playing in our spacious garden. This natural garden offers plenty of opportunities to explore, move and learn outdoors. We prepare a fresh, hot lunch and healthy snacks every day, taking any allergies or dietary wishes into account. Our horizontal group structure means children are placed in age groups: babies, toddlers and preschoolers each receive the attention and stimuli suited to their developmental stage. We provide early childhood education (VVE), allowing your child to work on language, numeracy and social skills through play.
