Welcome to Kindergarden Kamerlingh Onnesweg in Bussum! Our daycare is located in a beautiful, monumental villa with a warm, homely interior and a stained-glass entrance that invites you in from the very first step. We provide childcare for children from 2 months to 4 years old in horizontal groups, so children play with peers who are in the same developmental stage. As soon as you enter, you’ll see our two infant sections (0-2 years). These rooms feature calm play and relaxation corners: a black-and-white corner—the first contrast babies recognise and therefore highly stimulating—a cosy reading nook, soft play mats and mirror walls where they can discover themselves. For toddlers (1-3 years) we have a separate group with sensory rooms where, when needed, we can retreat for quiet time or a story from our own library. The preschool groups (2-4 years) work with a special 3+ cupboard perfectly suited to the developmental step towards primary school; while the youngest ones nap, the oldest preschoolers love to get started here. Our pride and joy is the huge, naturally designed garden. Winding paths between tall shrubs invite hide-and-seek, there’s a large sandbox, slide, shade sails for cool spots and two vegetable gardens where toddlers and preschoolers grow their own vegetables and herbs. A separate, enclosed part of the garden is set up as a baby garden, so even the very youngest can safely enjoy the fresh air while older children race on the bike track or balance on half tyres. We use this outdoor space daily for nature and discovery learning moments. We work with a pedagogical expert who, together with our team, ensures a well-considered approach in which every child is given space to grow at their own pace. We are located in a child-friendly neighbourhood, right next to De Hoeksteen primary school and close to the A1, offering parents flexible drop-off and pick-up times. There is ample parking right outside.
