Kindergarden Arnhem Elderveld

Welcome to Kindergarden Arnhem Elderveld, our small and friendly daycare centre at Burgemeester Matsersingel 200 in the Elderveld-Zuid district. Everything is on one level and the groups are interconnected; the changing area in between creates plenty of pleasant contact. We provide care for up to 70 children aged 0 to 4, divided into horizontal age groups so that rooms, rhythms and activities are perfectly tailored to your child’s stage of development. In our baby group we follow your child’s individual rhythm. If your child is still asleep when we sit down to eat, they will eat later. Feeding time is truly a moment of attention and always takes place on a lap. For toddlers and preschoolers we create lots of space for independence: setting the table, going to the toilet—whatever the children can do themselves, they are encouraged to do. We offer age-appropriate activities throughout the day. In the morning, for example, we split the group so that the three-year-olds have their own circle time in which we focus on topics that prepare them for primary school. Our large, green garden with plenty of trees and shade invites exploration and play. Stepping stones, half tyres, a sandpit, little paths and a hill to ride over: nature is our extension. Because everything is on one level, we are outside in no time. Every day we cook fresh, healthy meals in our own kitchen. Our educational programme, Wereldwijs, provides a rich learning environment fully attuned to your child’s world. Together we create a safe, stimulating and loving place where children can discover themselves and the world around them.
