Kindergarden Amsterdam Fizeaustraat

Welcome to Kindergarden Amsterdam Fizeaustraat, located in a characteristic Amsterdam School-style building at Fizeaustraat 4 in Amsterdam-Oost. Our daycare center provides care for up to 79 children aged 0 to 4 years and is part of Kindergarden Netherlands, a national organization with over 25 years of experience in childcare. At Kindergarden Fizeaustraat, we work with horizontal groups, meaning children play and develop with peers of the same age. We have three baby groups for children aged 0 to 2 years and three toddler groups for children aged 2 to 4 years. Each child has the space to develop at their own pace in a safe, familiar environment. Our pedagogical staff provide personal attention and guide the children with great care and patience. Our building is a former school that breathes the atmosphere of the Amsterdam School, with many stained glass windows, high ceilings and spacious, bright classrooms. The interior is specially designed for children, with calming colors and high-quality materials. We have a large garden with a separate section for babies, complete with sandbox, climbing frame, seesaw and playhouse. Outdoor sleeping is also possible, allowing children to rest in the fresh air. We offer a wide range of activities tailored to the development of young children, including music, dance, arts and crafts, language development, gardening, yoga and mindfulness. Sports activities and nature experiences are also part of our program. We work with Early Childhood Education (ECE) to optimally stimulate children's development. Our pedagogical staff regularly attend training to stay up-to-date with the latest insights. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding, diapers and care products. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account and serve healthy, warm meals, bread meals and snacks. Parents can stay informed about their child's development through our app, receiving photos and messages. Kindergarden Fizeaustraat is easily accessible, near Amstel station and the A10. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:45 to 18:30. Half-day care is available.
