Welcome to Kinderfortje daycare, located at Deymanstraat 14A H in the heart of Amsterdam East. We provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is officially registered as a daycare center and is known for the safe and homely atmosphere where children quickly feel at home. At Kinderfortje, we work from a clear pedagogical policy plan that is available for inspection at the location. We believe that every child is unique and therefore encourage development at their own pace. We offer a calm and familiar environment where children have the space to play, discover and grow. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide your child in taking new steps in his or her development. Our daily schedule is flexible and tailored to the needs of young children. We work with fixed routines around sleeping, eating and playing, with room for individual attention. We find it important that children feel safe and secure, so that they have the space to be themselves and discover the world around them. For the care of your child, we ask you to bring several items, such as extra clothes, a sleeping bag, a possible pacifier, cuddly toy and/or bottle. We have clear house rules that contribute to a safe and healthy environment for all children. For example, smoking is not allowed at our location and we ask you to choose healthy options for treats.
