Kindereijk

Peuteropvang De Kindereijk is located at Eerste Zeine 98 in Waalwijk and provides childcare with great enthusiasm for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our aim is to offer high-quality childcare in a safe, familiar and homely environment. We work with separate toddler groups, with a clear distinction between group activities and individual pursuits. We believe it is important that children have the space to experiment and develop their own personality. We focus on what the child can already do and give compliments for successes, while encouraging them when something doesn't work out yet. Our activities are varied and development-oriented. We work thematically with programs such as Peuterplein and Boekstart, where we stimulate language development through reading aloud and conversations. We celebrate seasonal festivities such as Easter egg hunts, the summer festival with water activities and bouncy castles, and the King's Games with traditional Dutch games. Children also make gifts for Mother's and Father's Day and learn about different cultures. We use daily situations such as fruit time to stimulate mathematical development and pay attention to motor skill development. Our spaces are furnished in a homely style with, among other things, a doll corner, dress-up clothes and kitchen utensils to encourage role play. We have an outdoor space where children can play and move. We work with a VVE coordinator who collaborates with the consultation bureau that visits the location four times a year. Parents are kept informed of themes through our digital system Konnect and receive suggestions for activities at home.
