Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Zoet, located at Standaardruiter 7 in Veenendaal. We are a small-scale, home-style daycare centre where babies, toddlers and children up to 4 years old play and grow together in four vertical groups. Our close-knit team of professional pedagogical staff greets every child with a warm welcome each morning. Inside, a spacious, bright playroom is furnished with age-appropriate materials and a cosy, living-room atmosphere. You will find a reading corner, a sofa area for shared meals and crafts, a large chalkboard, a mirror with rail for first steps, and a safe play-pen with baby swing and ball pit for the youngest. The changing area has two child toilets, a child-height sink and a changing table with pull-out step, all within sight of the main room. Two separate bedrooms with safety-approved bunk beds offer quiet rest times, monitored by baby monitors and door windows. Outside, a large, fenced playground features a shaded artificial-grass section for the little ones, paved space for riding and chalk drawing, two child-sized picnic tables and plenty of safe play equipment. We follow the Pyramid developmental method, blending play and structured activities in a secure setting. Daily activities include walks, library or playground visits, baking, crafts, games and story time. Seasonal events such as an Easter hunt, Sinterklaas visit and summer party add extra fun. Healthy food is served: fresh fruit in the morning, sandwiches at midday and crunchy vegetables to finish the day, with an occasional sweet treat for celebrations.
