Kinderdagverblijf 'Zoet'

Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Zoet, located at Raadhuisplein 1C in the heart of Voerendaal. We are a small-scale, home-style daycare centre for up to 16 children aged 0–4 years, divided into four vertical groups. Every morning our close-knit, experienced team – led by owner and pedagogical coach Josina – greets your child with a warm welcome. Inside, a bright and spacious group room is carefully furnished with age-appropriate materials: a cosy reading corner, a sofa area for shared meals and crafts, a large drawing board, a mirror with rail for first steps, and for the very youngest a safe playpen, rocking cradle and ball pit. An adjoining care area offers two child toilets, a child-height sink and a changing table with pull-out step. Two separate bedrooms, equipped with safe bunk beds and baby monitors, ensure peaceful naps. Our large, enclosed outdoor playground invites running, cycling, football and chalk drawing. A section with artificial grass and a sun sail lets even the tiniest ones enjoy the outdoors safely. Two child-sized picnic tables allow us to eat and play games outside in good weather. We follow the Pyramid developmental method, combining play and structured activities to stimulate each child at their own pace. We take regular walks, visit the library and playground, bake together, play games and do crafts. Annual traditions include an Easter egg hunt, Sinterklaas’ visit and a summer party. Healthy food matters: fresh fruit in the morning, sandwiches at midday, and crunchy vegetables with a story to end the day. Treats are saved for special celebrations.
